The team grows as the companies do
Treehous is founder-operated today. As the companies under the roof grow, the team grows with them: operators to run divisions, builders to start the next ones. We hire when a real seat opens, not to pad a headcount.
We'd rather be honest about that than post roles we can't yet back. If you're the kind of person we should know before a seat opens, we want the conversation early.

A seat here is a person, not a headcount
Three things stay true no matter how big the roof gets.
We hire operators
The plan is to hire people who can run divisions, so future Treehous isn't one person trying to be the operator on everything. We look for people who own outcomes.
Family, not headcount
We keep the team close and real. A seat here isn't a cog in a portfolio, it's a person we build alongside, day to day.
Fun is part of the job
The best environment possible, for the team, the companies, and the customers. If the work isn't engaging, we've built it wrong.
Two kinds of people build the next thing
We don't have a job board. We have a shape of person we keep an eye out for.
Operators
People who can take a young company and run it: go-to-market, hiring, the operational machine. The kind of person we can eventually hand a division to.
Builders
Founders-in-residence at heart. People with an idea worth building who want the roof, the capital, and the operating weight behind them.
Got an idea that won't leave you alone?
Want to work with one of our companies? Got something you want to build with the roof behind you? Either way, we're easy to talk to, and we actually answer our email.
